WHAT PARENTS NEED TO KNOW:
  • This event costs $596 per student. ..but don't be scared!  Check out the fundraisers below!  
    • $50 is due upfront (Sunday following your confirmation) to reserve your student's place on the trip.  
    • On April 7th, $150 more is due through either fundraisers or payment. 
    • On May 5th, $150 more is due through either fundraisers or payment: totaling $350. 
    • On June 2nd, all monies are due for the trip to total $596.00
  • Your student will be volunteering manual labor at Saving Grace on Saturday for 2 hours as a way to widen their view of God's Kingdom and work.

- MAY 19 - THE PAINTBALL FUNDRAISER - 1:30 pm on the North Lawn at RCC - Get sponsors to shoot at you with paintballs!  $5 per paintball!

7 AM - Leave Church
12 PM - Stop for Lunch
6:30 PM - Stop for Dinner in Birmingham, AL and stay the night
11:00 PM - Lights Out

JUNE 9 - SUNDAY
6:00 AM -Wake up and pack
7:00 AM -breakfast
7:45 AM -Leave Birmingham, AL
12:00 PM - Stop for lunch
3:00 PM - Arrive and Next Step Mission Site in Columbia, SC - Grace Chapel Church
3 — 5PM | Arrive to Mission Location
6 — 7PM | Dinner
7 — 8:30PM | Worship and Weekly Orientation
8:30 — 11PM | Church time, Small Groups & Free Time
11PM | Lights Out

10:00 PM - Stop in Memphis Tennessee for the Night
11:00 PM - Lights Out

JUNE 16 // SUNDAY
6 AM - Get up, get packed
7 AM - Breakfast
8 AM - Leave for Rogers
12 PM - Stop for Lunch
4 PM - Arrive at RCC

Required wear and bring: 
  • Your account for the trip fully paid. 
  • A Cellphone is preferred for photos and communication
  • 8 Days worth of comfortable travel and work clothes and shoes.  (Close-toed shoes for workdays, preferably work boots. )
  • Bed Pad or Air Mattress
  • Bedding and Pillow
  • Toiletries to shower. 
  • Towel
  • Bible and Pen
  • Work Gloves
  • a water bottle

Recommended to bring: 
  • Extra Cash for stops
  • Snacks for in the van or at night

Things that will Disqualify you from going: 
  • obvious weapons of any kind (knives, guns, nunchucks, etc...)
  • any illegal substances (drugs, alcohol)
  • a disrespectful or bad attitude
  • Not attending youth group consistently. 
  • Acting dangerously or in a way that makes you unfit for a long distance trip.
