How it all started...
RCC began with just a handful of faithful Jesus followers in 1971. These men, women and their families were looking for a biblical community that stood on the authority of God’s Word, the Bible. Several years later, they broke ground on our current campus at 2501 W. Oak St.
Expanding the vision...
Since that time, RCC has been a place of hope, peace and healing. Led by various elderships and pastors over our history, RCC has been a place for people to hear applicable Bible teaching and preaching alongside other believers and people seeking Jesus for the first time. Over the years, our styles have changed; we’ve added buildings and improved facilities; we’ve added staff; we’ve developed strategies. The one thing that has never changed was our appreciation and complete devotion to the Scriptures we find in the Bible. The Bible is sufficient for everything we need to address in our lives!
Where we are headed...
With that devotion in mind, we continue to move forward. We are a growing congregation both spiritually and numerically. We are a diverse congregation with different ethnic backgrounds, spiritual backgrounds, financial backgrounds, young, old and everything in between. We know that God has called RCC to stand out in our community as a people that love Jesus with everything we have. We do this through our purpose of being a people that follow Jesus while encouraging other people to do the same. We say it this way: We are Disciples Creating Disciples!
